Almost everyone in Medical Affairs has left a conference session thinking:

→ “They missed the most useful part”

→ “Our team has already solved this month’s ago”

→ “I could have given a waaayyyy better presentation”

Okay, conference critic. Your turn.

You don’t need a secret qualification.

Conference speakers are not members of some mysterious chosen class.

They had an idea. They submitted it. Someone said yes.

Meanwhile, Medical Affairs teams are sitting on great stories about improving insights, proving impact, developing teams, using AI, and fixing processes that drive everyone crazy.

Sounds like a conference agenda to us! And we are here to give you the perfect opportunity:

DIA MASC 2027 call for abstracts is live and you have until Aug 26 to submit your idea!

Here’s how to do it:

1. Build the talk you wish existed

Ask yourself:

→ What do conference speakers keep getting wrong?

→ What has our team figured out that other teams are still struggling with?

→ What session would make me grab a colleague and say, “We need to go to this”?

There you go. That’s probably your topic.

Step 1b. Pop your idea into Mira or your favorite AI tool with this prompt to give it some sparkle:

“Act as a Medical Affairs conference advisor. Help me turn this experience into a strong conference presentation idea: [DESCRIBE YOUR IDEA]. Identify the specific problem it solves, who needs to hear it, 3 practical takeaways, and what would make the session different from the usual conference content. Ask me targeted questions before suggesting the final idea.”

2. Ok. Now submit the thing.

Get your idea out into the wild by submitting to the DIA MASC 2027 meeting.

Please don’t create a beautiful abstract and then abandon it in your Downloads folder. If you aren’t sure if your topic is any good, send it to us. We’ll tell you if we’d attend.

TL;DR

You have mentally rewritten enough conference presentations.

→ Pick the problem your team has solved
→ Turn it into the session you wish existed
→ Submit it to DIA MASC by August 26
