But underneath the joke is a real fear:

An HCP can open their phone:
→ Search OpenEvidence.
→ Find an answer in seconds.
They are busy. Overworked. Behind on charts. Drowning in everything. So why in the world would they make time to meet with an MSL?
That is the question Medical Affairs needs to answer now.
AI Is Not the Threat. Generic MSLing Is.
The MSL who just shows up to “share data” is in trouble. Because data is everywhere now.
But the MSL who uses AI to prepare smarter, find hidden influencers, uncover practice patterns, create better congress reports, and bring real strategic value?
That MSL is golden.
AI is not the thing making MSLs obsolete. It’s exposing the difference between activity and impact.

You can get on the AI train and enjoy this glorious, slightly chaotic, wildly powerful moment in human history. Or you can keep working the old way and hope the world slows down for you.
