Featured Blog Post: "The Roadmap Every New MSL Needs to Succeed in Year One?"
In this blog post, we break down the roadmap every new MSL needs to thrive in their first year and why some struggle to gain traction.
The reality? Most new MSLs don’t fall behind because they lack scientific expertise. They struggle because they:
► Don’t establish strong KOL relationships early
► Fail to build momentum in their first 6 months
► Neglect internal networking, missing key career opportunities
► Underestimate the power of personal branding on LinkedIn
Success as an MSL isn’t just about knowledge: it’s about strategy, execution, and positioning yourself as a trusted partner.
This is proof: a clear roadmap isn’t optional—it’s the key to long-term success.

Success Stories: Lauri's MSL Journey & the Path to Success
We’re thrilled to feature another incredible success story that showcases the hard work and dedication of one of our own, Lauri. Her inspiring journey to securing an MSL role at Abbott demonstrates the power of perseverance and the value of the right guidance and support.
Lauri’s Story:
“Sarah, I don’t think I could possibly be more excited to share with you that I accepted a verbal offer yesterday to join Abbott as an MSL!!! I had my panel interview and presentation yesterday, and at the end of the call, the director mentioned that I should expect a call from their Talent Acquisition team for next steps. It took everything I had not to ugly cry at that moment, but I managed to keep it together! Shortly after, I received the verbal offer, with the plan for a written offer by Monday!”
Why This Story Matters
Lauri’s story is a powerful example of what happens when you combine persistence, the right support, and a commitment to growth. Her success shows that while the journey may take time, the results are well worth the effort. It’s a reminder that even when the path seems long, staying focused and applying the right strategies can lead to your dream role.
